Clear results start
with clear tracking.
Here’s what a tracked result means, how to read it and where Metistic currently tracks.
What we track
Metistic checks your selected prompts in ChatGPT and records the paid ads that appear. A tracked result connects the prompt, advertiser, creative, market and date.
Why repeated tracking matters
The same prompt can return different ads on different checks. A single result shows what appeared at that moment. Repeated tracking gives you a history to review.
Your ad presence
The percentage of completed checks where your brand’s ad appeared. For example, 18 appearances in 28 checks is about 64%.
Competitor share of voice
An advertiser’s share of the recorded ad appearances in your selected tracking results. This is different from its share of all ChatGPT impressions.
Your brand absent
Your brand’s ad was not recorded in the selected checks. Review whether competing advertisers appeared on those prompts.
No ads seen
No ad was recorded in the selected checks. This does not establish whether advertisers were bidding or whether other users saw ads.
Read the number and its context
Review the prompt, market, tracking period and number of completed checks together. A result based on a few checks carries less information than a longer tracking history.
Metistic describes its tracked results. It does not claim to see every ChatGPT user, impression or ad placement. A completed check with no ad is also different from a check that could not be completed.

Metistic currently supports tracking in 52 markets. Keep market results separate when reviewing them.

Market selection and prompt limits
Free and Starter each cover one supported market. Growth includes 200 prompts in total, which you can spread across any of the supported markets.
For example, a Growth workspace could track 120 prompts in the United States and 80 in the United Kingdom. Each prompt keeps its own market, with its own completed checks and recorded ads.
